Monday, 5 December 2016 Pilot union from South Korea’s number one airline Korean Air announce a 12 day pilot strike.
Korean Air Strike dates starts Tuesday, December 20 - Saturday, December 31, 2016. 
Strike will go ahead if this Wednesday’s talks fail.

25 February 2016 Update:-KoreanAir management sought court injunction against recently held vote, claiming vote is invalid due to procedural problems.

Balloting results are in. 1,106 workers vote for strike action out of the 1,845 members. Only 923 votes were needed by law.
Government has made it difficult for pilot's to strike over the years, expect 80% of flights to leave.

Company has a different idea and has offered 1.9% pay increase for 2016.
Pilot's will vote on this January 29, 2016.

Airline based at Incheon and Gimpo Seoul. Last pilot strike was 10 years ago. Pilot's can double wages if they fly for another asian company. Current Korean Air salary $140,334.
